How much does an epoxy garage floor cost in Mississippi?

Price comes down to square footage and the condition of the slab. A clean, sound two car garage is straightforward. A slab with a lot of cracking, spalling, or old coating that has to come off takes more prep, and prep is labor. That is why we quote off photos or an in person look instead of publishing a flat rate that would be wrong for half the floors we see. Estimates are free and the number we give you is written down.

How long does the whole job take?

Most residential garages are a short job, but the honest answer depends on the system and how much slab repair is involved. What we will do is tell you the schedule up front, including when you can walk on the floor and when you can park on it. You will not have to guess.

My garage floor is cracked and stained with oil. Can it still be coated?

Accepted Answer

Usually yes, and that is most of what we see. Oil has to come out of the concrete before anything goes down, so we degrease and then diamond grind past the contaminated surface. Cracks get cut open and filled, and spalled areas get rebuilt. If a slab genuinely is not a candidate we will tell you that instead of taking the job and watching it fail.

What is the difference between flake and metallic?

Flake is the speckled finish most people have in mind for a garage. Colored vinyl chips are broadcast into a wet base coat until the surface is fully covered, which hides imperfections well and gives you some grip underfoot. Metallic is a poured decorative finish where pigment moves through clear resin to create marble style veining. Flake is the workhorse. Metallic is the showpiece.

Do you do patios, driveways, and outdoor concrete?

Yes. We coat and seal patios, porches, walkways, and driveway aprons, and we match exterior work to the garage when people want the two to read as one surface. Outdoor concrete gets a system chosen for sun and moisture exposure rather than the same product we would use inside.

How do I take care of the floor once it is down?

Accepted Answer

Sweep or blow it out, and mop it with warm water and a mild cleaner when it needs it. Skip anything harsh or acidic. Put a mat under a vehicle that drips. That is genuinely most of it, which is the point of a coated floor.
